I love being a BzzAgent!

I am so excited to be a BzzAgent and participate in the CarMD campaign.  It couldn’t have arrived at a better time because my van was having issues.  The day after we downloaded the software, my engine light came on.  It was nice to be able to plug the CarMD into my van and get the code without having to leave my driveway.  We found out that there was a miss fire on cylinder 2.  It described what that meant and how much the estimated cost would be to fix it.  One other thing we found out was that my van had 4 recalls listed.  If we didn’t have the CarMD we wouldn’t have known about the recalls because we hadn’t received anything from the manufacturer.  My husband and I are really pleased with the CarMD.  It was simple to upload and didn’t take long.  To get the code, my husband just plugged it in, turned on the ignition, the code showed up and he plugged the CarMD into the computer, which immediately told us what was wrong.  My husband fixed the spark plugs and saved us a lot of money.

CarMD is also a great gift idea.  Do you need a Graduation present?  The CarMD would be a great gift for a college student traveling back and forth to school.  You can save $30 off the device by visiting carmd.com/bzz.

For the little mommy in your family!

Did Christmas bring a new edition to your family.  When I was little I knew on Christmas morning I would wake up and have a new baby doll waiting for me.  The doll that was my all time favorite was my Baby Alive.  That doll had the fullest belly and cleanest diapers, because I constantly fed and changed her even when she didn't need it.

Do you have a little mommy in your house who got a Baby Alive for Christmas?  Is she doing the same thing?  If she is then it is probably time to get more baby food, juice and diapers and teach her about couponing as a little mommy.  Start them young! :)  Print off this coupon and have her clip it.  She can save $3.00 when you buy any 2 Baby Alive food, juice, or diaper refill packs.  She will really feel like a little mommy when you involve her is this process.

Enjoy the little moments that make BIG memories!

Make Ahead Monday Dinner Review!

Tonight we had Beef Tips with gravy.  It was only my husband and I eating tonight and we really liked it.  I served them over egg noodles.  We both give this meal a 9.  The beef was very tender and the gravy had a lot of flavor.  I would recommend this crock pot meal to all my followers.

If you have a recipe you would like us to try, let me know. We would love to try it!

The recipe for this was posted yesterday if you would like to try it.

Forget the Gold Fish!

A year ago on New Years Eve we had my daughters Sweet Sixteen Birthday Party.  I purchased 6 colorful beta fish to swim in the glass pillars of the cupcake stand we made.  Three of these beta fish ended up coming home with us.  Being a busy family always on the go, I always try to clean their bowls each week, but there are some weeks that doesn't happen and they get a little green.  I am the resident fish bowl cleaner.  No one else in my home seems to know how to do this.  The kids are responsible for feeding the fish.  I think there are a few days when they are not fed and days when my 6 year old over feeds them.  These fish have endured a lot over the last year and are STILL alive!  Forget buying Gold Fish for your kids when you are at the pet store.  Save yourself the money you will have to pay to replace the fish when it dies in a month.  Plus, save yourself the agony of the toilet bowl or back yard burial funeral with your children crying uncontrollably over a fish you have had a short time.  If you must get them a fish, consider a beta.  They seem to last forever and are not a lot of work.  Plus they are beautiful.

Happy Birthday to my 3 beta fish!
